2008 Spartans January Camp Report

What a weekend, what a camp, what a great time. Congratulations to all the Spartans Corps Members, Instructional Staff and Support Staff – January 18, 19 & 20 were huge!

Corps: Great work, great effort, great ethics, great attention to detail. A Drum & Bugle Corps doing everything that it should do. Lots and lots of rookies (I will prefer to call you first year Spartans), a new Drum Major (stepping right into the role), and the returning veterans (providing continuity and pride). Every logistic was handled like you have been a corps in training for months. Attitude (very Corps like), altitude (you aspired to reach for the top), and amplitude (when there was need for more effort and more energy you gave us your best). Thank you for choosing excellence, and honoring 53 years of tradition here at Spartans Drum & Bugle Corps!
