Blue Stars Colorguard Breaks For Winter

In a departure from the past, we have taken a course of action that most DCI World Class drum corps do these days.

With the advancement of the quality of training in the indoor guard programs, we have encouraged guard members to participate in the scholastic and independent classes in Winter Guard International (WGI and www.wgi.org). This gives potential members of the Blue Stars and returning veterans, the ability to train and perform on a very high level and then bring those skills back with them to the drum corps after their season ends.
