The Brigadiers will bring in the New Year by working through significant portions of the 2008 program at the January 12-13 camp! On tap for this camp: learning the rest of the opener and beginning work on the closer. And we welcome the Color Guard for its first rehearsal of 2008 – the earliest the Brigs have been together as a full corps in recent memory!

The Brigs extend their appreciation to the East Syracuse–Minoa school district which has graciously offered the use of the district’s stellar facilities to the Brigs for our winter camps. We look forward to a successful and continued relationship with the district and are excited to head into 2008 in East Syracuse.

In addition to our usual brass and percussion rehearsals, the Color Guard will also hold an open sectional on Sunday, January 13, only. This rehearsal is open to anyone interested in attending, whether you plan to march in 2008, just want an opportunity to spin, or would like a chance to see what the Brigs color guard is like. Potential and returning members should bring any equipment they have. The sectional will include a dance class and equipment time, and will be very relaxed and informal.

2008 looks to be yet another outstanding year for drum corps in Central New York. The Brigadiers offer a championship-proven design team and instructional staff, with unique opportunities for performers of all ages. If you desire to be a part of a world class organization with a basis in music education, The Brigadiers is the place for you!

With roots dating to 1938, The Brigadiers Drum & Bugle Corps was reorganized in 1991 after a nineteen-year absence from competition. The Brigadiers are 5-time Drum Corps Associates World Champions, winning titles in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002, and are the only drum and bugle corps to ever win four consecutive DCA titles.
