Jarrett Lipman left his New Jersey home to follow the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps to San Antonio because he believes so much in its mission.

"Crossmen shaped my ideas on responsibility and discipline," Lipman said. "It teaches you leadership, organization."

The 22-year-old Rutgers University student is now finishing his student teaching at Reagan High School and is in the corps instructional staff. So far, he couldn’t be happier with his move.
