Spartans Name 2008 Drum Major

The Spartans Staff and Administration is pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica Popik as the Spartans 2008 Drum Major!

Jessica marched with the Spartans in 2006 and has rejoined the Corps for the 2008 season. She graduated from Oakmont Regional High School in 2004 and has been attending the University of Massachusetts/Lowell, as a clarinet performance major with a minor in political science. She will graduate in the spring of this year and her plans after college include graduate school in Boston (for music) as she pursues a career in performance (wind ensemble or orchestra.) Jessica also teaches clarinet and saxophone at Westminster Elementary School as well as in the Chelmsford, MA Public School System.
