2008 Madison Scouts February Camp Report

Madison, Wisconsin has already set a new all-time record for snowfall; but for this past camp weekend, the adverse weather was not in our backyard. Winter storms in the Northeast and in Missouri caused several travel delays and cancellations. But by Saturday afternoon, nearly everyone was at the school working towards our many musical goals we had set for the camp.

Along with polishing a few revisions on the opening number, the corps worked through the second production for the first time. Not only will this piece explore an impressive range of musical artistry, but it will also offer the members an opportunity to demonstrate the true extent of their talents. An exploration of emotional connectivity, the second production has the ability to reach the audience in a multitude of ways.
