2008 Spartans February Camp Report

February camp was all about more….more of the titillating “Metallic Soundscapes” music, more visual practice, learning more about ourselves individually, and more about ourselves as members of a cohesive Corps!

Spartans has invited a very special addition to our fine team of professionals this year. At camp, we were joined by Dr. Jacob Levy, a leading member of the Drum Corps Medical Project. “Dr. Jake” captured everyone’s attention throughout the weekend as he spoke about performance enhancement techniques, personality traits and strengths, and valuable tools for performance readiness. He will be working closely with us throughout the season with ongoing communication and future visits planned. “Dr. Jake” adds another element of expertise to our repertoire as we continue to strive toward the virtue of excellence in all that we do!
