Bridgemen DrumFest Returns For 2008

After a 20+ year absence, another Bayonne Bridgemen Tradition returns to the city this winter.

The Bridgemen Drumfest, an annual winter event from back in the day, returns to Bayonne on March 15, 2008 at St. Andrew’s, 4th and Broadway, starting at 4:00 pm.

The event is shaping up to be a night of music and entertainment as individual musicians and ensembles come from all over the metro area and New England to entertain and compete.

Appearing will be some of the finest horn players and drummers in the area showing off their talents and looking to gain bragging rights.

One of the highlights of the competition will be the SOP Bowl I, pitting the best of New England against the best of New York… again.

Following the competition portion of the night will be a mini corps exhibition including some of the best mini corps in the area.

The Grand Finale will be nothing other than our own Bayonne Bridgemen performing a preview of their 2008 music show.

Tickets can be purchased at the door as follows
$7.00 for Adults
$4.00 for Children 14 and under.
Children 5 and under are free.
