Continuing to move forward after a hugely successful January camp, The Brigadiers are set to make even greater strides on the 2008 program, “Reflexions,” at the February 16-17 camp. The corps already has the closer, “Ride,” in hand, and significant work on this production is planned for the February camp. The Color Guard will be in attendance on Sunday, as well, for its second open sectional of the winter.

Camp will again be held at East Syracuse–Minoa High School. In addition to the usual brass and percussion rehearsals, the Color Guard will again hold an open sectional on Sunday, February 17, only. This rehearsal is open to anyone interested in attending, whether you plan to march in 2008, just want an opportunity to spin, or would like a chance to see what the Brigs color guard is like. Potential and returning members should bring any equipment they have. The sectional will include a dance class and equipment time, and will be very relaxed and informal.

2008 looks to be yet another outstanding year for drum corps in Central New York. The Brigadiers offer a championship-proven design team and instructional staff, with unique opportunities for performers of all ages. If you desire to be a part of a world class organization with a basis in music education, The Brigadiers is the place for you!

With roots dating to 1938, The Brigadiers Drum & Bugle Corps was reorganized in 1991 after a nineteen-year absence from competition. The Brigadiers are 5-time Drum Corps Associates World Champions, winning titles in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002, and are the only drum and bugle corps to ever win four consecutive DCA titles.
