Revolution Announces 2008 Program

| |

In 2008, Revolution will bring "el.e.va.tion" to the world stage through drum corps. "The show is all about elevating ourselves, our music, our marching , and our overall life." said Wes Roberts, corps director "The idea was to design a show that is basically an upward progression, modulation if you will, from the simplistic to the complex. We are wanting to elevate what we do, in drum corps, and in design just as we do in our life. Also, this is the perfect show to prepare the members, fans and organization for Revolution’s 10th anniversary season in 2009."

The show will open with The Gravel Road by James Newton Howard. Movement 2 will be a fantastically arranged Wild Nights by John Adams. We will feature a ballad by Jerry Goldsmith (First Contact) and end the production with The Concerto Fantasy for Two Timpanists and Orchestra by Philip Glass.
