DCI Supports MENC ‘MusicFriends Challenge’

MENC: The National Association for Music Education announced the launch of the 2008 MusicFriends Challenge to raise funds to support music education. The MusicFriends Challenge occurs during Music In Our Schools Month® (MIOSM®), celebrated every March by schools and communities around the nation.

During MIOSM, MENC corporate members Drum Corps International, Jupiter Band Instruments, Jamey Aebersold Jazz, Soundwaves Recording, and West Music Co. will display the MusicFriends Challenge graphic on their Web sites and donate $1 for every click to support music education through MusicFriends. In addition, corporate members Sam Ash and Kiddy Keys will make donations directly to MusicFriends.
