Skyliners Locate Hotel Accommodations For Beefsteak Dinner Attendees

The New York Skyliners have located hotel accommodations for attendees of the Beefsteak Dinner, which is being held on March 29th from 6:00 – 10:00 P.M. at the Dover American Legion Post #27 in Dover, New Jersey.

Due to the interest in the Beefsteak Dinner and the number of people travelling, the New York Skyliners have made arrangements at the Hampton Inn Denville-Parsippany Area, New Jersey. In addition to the Hampton Inn being only one exit away from the Dover American Legion Post #27 (it’s easy access right off I-80 right Exit 37), transportation to and from the hotel will be provided for Beefsteak Dinner attendees by the New York Skyliners

The special New York Skyliners price is well below regular and going rates. To boot, there is also an excellent diner across the street from the hotel. The Hampton Inn link is at: http://tinyurl.com/3duybt. “The New York Skyliners wanted to make everyone’s evening more comfortable, affordable, and safer,” said Ron Lawrence, Director of Support Services for the New York Skyliners.

Speaking of affordable, the $35.00 ticket price includes: Beefsteak Dinner (salad, fries, Filet Mignon), coffee and dessert; Beer, wine (with proof of age) and soda; Door prizes and lots of fun; and a D.J. There will also be a Cash Bar in “The Skyliner Lounge” for mixed drinks, and a “Mega” 50/50. Catering is by Baskinger’s Catering Company of Clifton, New Jersey. Come on down and spend an evening with New York Skyliners and drum corps friends!

Tickets must be reserved by Friday, March 21st, so if you plan on attending and have not already ordered your tickets, please do so as soon as possible. No tickets will be sold at the door, so reserve your tickets online at: http://www.nyskyliners.org/dinner.html, or contact Doreen Sandor, N. Y. Skyliners Dir. of Publicity at skypublicity [at] nyskyliners [dot] org. All tickets to be picked up at “will call.”

The proceeds from this fundraising event will benefit The New York Skyliners Drum & Bugle Corps, Inc., a non-profit organization registered in the State of New Jersey.
