In The News: Change Of Venue For Music Competition

The first event scheduled for Lucas Oil Stadium isn’t a football game – it’s a music competition. But the location will have to skip a beat.

Drum Corps International has played in Indianapolis at the RCA Dome before, but this year it marches in for the World Championships in early August. The event is expected to draw 35,000 people over a period of four days.

Executive director Dan Acheson said Friday afternoon they’ve yet to snare the exact location.
