Santa Clara Vanguard April “Tour Ready” Fleet Day Recap

Corps Parents, Alumni and friends of SCV, gathered on Saturday, April 19th, to perform fleet cleaning and maintenance at Vanguard Hall. The morning jump started with a continental breakfast provided by Jo Blatcher and Lisa Chavis. After a few minutes of organizing, we broke into teams and got to work. There was lots of scrubbing, steam cleaning and throwing out of items that have seen better days.

Thanks to our Mini Miss Amana Crew, we were served up the famous "Corn Flake Chicken" and had time to relax and mix and mingle. After lunch, we continued with more of the same, then buttoned up the Shop and the vehicles and put them to bed for the night.
