2008 Cadets Wine Tasting Report

Nearly 90 people came out for Youth Education in the Arts’ first event of the year as Wine Tasting 2008 took over the trendy Taos Wok & Restaurant in East Rutherford, N.J. Not only did guests savor hundreds of wines from across the globe, and enjoy a never-ending presentation of food, but their generous nature helped support the Cadets as they embark on the adventure of a lifetime.

The Wine Tasting was held May 18th, just days before the corps Moved-In for Spring Training and the hectic start of the 2008 season. The successful fundraiser was timed perfectly to ring in the exciting drum corps summer to come, as well as help fund the Cadets as an administration team grapples with higher expenses in fuel and food.
