2008 Cavaliers May Camp Report

Despite numerous flight cancellations and hours of delays, the Cavaliers’ May camp was well attended, with the color guard joining the brass and percussion sections for this final camp before pre-tour. Camp began Friday evening and members arrived in Dekalb, as late as 3:30 a.m., with a few not able to get in until Saturday morning.

Rain and cool temperatures in the 50’s on Saturday did not seem to hinder the corps’ progress, as rehearsals were very productive. “The guys really pushed through the miserable weather on Saturday . . . and then Sunday was beautiful. So goes the weather in the Midwest!” commented Bruno Zuccala, corps director.
