Classic Cavaliers March In Memorial Day Parade

On Monday, May 26, the Classic Cavaliers performed in the Wood Dale (Don Warren’s home town) Memorial Day parade. We had a great turn-out, and the work being done at Tuesday night rehearsals was evident in the sound of the hornline. The day was special for us in that Don Warren was also being recognized by the Wood Dale VFW post, and he was present on the reviewing stand. As we got to the reviewing stand, the corps turned and faced Don and gave him a standstill performance of Bully, and then marched off to the familiar tune of Battle Hymn.

The money we earned for marching in the parade will go directly toward helping cover the expense this year’s 60th Anniversary activities.
