First Ever Regular Season DCA Class A Contest

DCA has authorized its first ever regular season class A contest. In the past, Class A (65 or fewer performers not counting drum majors and color party) was an opportunity only offered at the DCA Championships.

The Brigadiers will be presenting the August 2nd Pageant of Drums show at Waterloo, NY High School stadium. The show will start at 7PM and feature the first ever Class A regional competition. Class A will have its own 1st through 3rd awards. This is a further reflection of the growth of the Class A activity for 2008. There will be a record 16 Class A corps in the DCA Preliminary Championship at Paetec Park in Rochester, NY on August 30 and the 4 highest scoring of these 16 will compete on Sunday evening for the DCA Class A Championship.
