In The News: Spirit Drum And Bugle Corps Practices At THS

Talladega High School band director David McDaniel is known for his hard work with the high school band, but not even he would have his band out practicing in early June only a few weeks after summer vacation began.

Or would he?

People have noticed a band practicing behind the high school, but McDaniel insists it is not his band. It is actually the Spirit Drum and Bugle Corps based out of Jacksonville State University, but separate from the university’s “Marching Southerners” band.
