Blood Donations Requested By YEA Alumna

| |

YEA alumna Tiffany Duncan is urging everyone to donate blood instead of sending flowers or gifts while she is in the hospital battling leukemia.

"If anyone is near the Philadelphia area, you can donate blood (A+), plasma or platelets by talking to the Red Cross and giving them my name (Tiffany Ann Duncan, Abington Hospital Room 2W45)," she said via e-mail.

Duncan is pretty well known among YEA circles. She was a Bluecoats guard from ’92-’93, a Crossmen guard in 1994, a YEA staff member from 2004-2006, and she currently marches with the Bushwackers DCA corps. The type of leukemia she has is called acute myelogenous leukemia, or AML M-3. She was admitted to the hospital July 16 for treatments.
