Cadets Alumni Gearing For 2009 Aniversary Celebration

Former members of the Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps are gathering and building the Alumni Corps with plans to perform for the Cadets 75th Anniversary in 2009.

Alumnus Pat Vazquez, who played with the Garfield Cadets in 1961-1967, teamed up with Youth Education in the Arts CEO George Hopkins and others to build the Cadets Alumni Corps. Plans are to enlist former Cadets of all ages and practice some songs from previous repertoire of the ‘60s through ‘90s representative of the Cadets’ performances of those years.
