In The News: Drum Corps International Puts On Show In Ocean Springs

They’re from all over the nation, and they put on quite the show in Ocean Springs. Tuesday night, 1,400 students loaded with musical talent graced the field at Greyhound Stadium. It was all a part of the Mississippi Sound Spectacular featuring Drum Corps International. The show was both entertaining and deadly serious.

"These are individual groups that have a level of entertainment beyond high school marching bands or college marching bands. They work for perfection. They have intrinsic pageantry, musical levels that are at the highest of standards," said Joe Cacibauda, Director of Music for the Ocean Springs School District.
