In The News: Rochester’s Empire Statesmen Celebrate 25th Year As Drum Corps

Rochester’s Empire Statesmen drum and bugle corps, celebrating its 25th anniversary this summer, competed in its first local competition Saturday at the fifth annual Vince Bruni Preview of Champions at St. John Fisher College.

Other corps that competed were Hawthorne Caballeros of New Jersey; Syracuse Brigadiers; Rochester Crusaders and Dansville White Sabers. The Empire Cadets youth marching band and Alumni All Stars played as well.
