Yamato Competes in SoCal Shows

Yet another first for Yamato is the appearance at drum corps shows in Southern California. "We thought it important to be able to bring the corps together sooner than past years to compete at the annual Corps at the Crest and Western Corps Connection events and well as the Open Class Events in July," said corps director, Edward Martin. "We are better known in the mid-west and east coast than in our own neighborhood. This had to change in order for Yamato to better serve the student musicians and performers in Southern California."
