Besana Enters 2008 DCE Championships

Besana Marching band will enter the Open Class of the DCE European Championships on September 27th in Kerkrade – The Netherlands. They will replace the Blue Lions from Mons en Baroeul who had to withdraw.

It is the first time ever that Besana will enter the DCE competition, which means that Drum Corps Europe may welcome two Italian groups this year. They did very well at the ‘2008 International Championship of Marching Showbands’ earlier this year, ending up in 6th place with only 4 points behind Jubal. Besana will perform ‘Quidam’ from Cirque du Soleil.
