Emerald GrenaDears Alumni Currently Recruiting For 2008-2009 Season

| |

The Emerald GrenaDears have been reunited since 2002 as an All Female Senior Alumni drum and bugle corps, after a twenty five year absence of being a junior all girl drum and bugle corps, winning various titles through out their rein. The corps has grown and evolved to consist of not only former "Girls in Green" but women who were drum corps veterans from various other organizations, as well as women who are new to the drum corps world and simply wanted to be a part of something that would change their lives.

We are not a competitive field corps. Members are not required to attend long rehearsals, "camps", or summer tours. Membership does not "eat up" your time or your money. The Girls in Green play a wide variety of musical styles from many different eras. The GrenaDears are a contemporary drum & bugle corps that primarily performs at concerts, state shows, and parades throughout the New Jersey area. Our emphasis is on performance and entertainment.

The music is enjoyable and entertaining both for the performers and the audiences. The membership is talented, friendly, and outgoing. The schedule is very realistic, especially for working adults and students.

If you are considering performing with a quality concert band, brass band, drum and bugle corps or similar musical unit but do not want to commit to the long hours and high expenses which are often required, the GrenaDears may very well be what you are looking for.

Membership is open in all sections – brass, drums, percussion, and color cuard. We practice twice a month, the second Friday in Lake Hopatcong NJ and the fourth Friday in Randolph NJ
