In The News: Corps, Fans A Perfect Musical Match

Christopher Judd of Mohawk was awestruck when 7th Regiment, a drum corps from New London, Conn., marched onto the turf with its opening song.

With color guard flags waving and horns blowing, the crowd at Rome Free Academy Stadium cheered and clapped with each pause in the music as the 30th show of Drums Along the Mohawk was under way.

Christopher, a musician himself at the ripe age of 3, was so speechless his grandfather and grandmother Ron and Diane Rose of Mohawk had to speak for him.
