In The News: In Pursuit Of Perfection
Danielle Merson sat behind Westminster High School, hunched intently over her task of buffing the last stains out of her white shoes.
Then she fetched her uniform and suited up. Once dressed, she was focused.
In the background was crescendo of horns, drums and voices, but she was stone silent. As she and her group members marched two by two, horns in the right hand, shako in the left, no one spoke.
