In The News: Music Is Sport For This MHS Student

While many of his friends are spending their summer at camp, or visiting vacation sites or working, Jason Wicks of Morristown High School is spending his summer in 12- to 16-hour per day rehearsals on a football field.

The journey began in November; this is when all Drum Corps International corps begin their audition camps. Hundreds of high school and college students go to weekend camp in hopes they will be offered one of the 150 positions available in each corps.
