In The News: Trumpeting City, Corps
Mayor Chuck Oberlie has many opportunities to trumpet the city’s good points.
On Monday, he actually was presented with a trumpet – a special, ceremonial trumpet.
Oberlie welcomed members of 23 groups that will compete today in the quarterfinals of the Drum Corps International World Championship, beginning at 2:30 p.m. at Ames Field.
