Quantum Scores Big At DCI Championship

| |

Drum corps using the Quantum Marching instruments from Jupiter, Mapex and Majestic scored high in the inaugural DCI World Championship Open Class Finals. Congratulations to the Jersey Surf who took Third Place and Teal Sound who finished in Fifth place in the Open Class Finals.

Coming into the championships, Jersey Surf was in Third Place and Teal Sound was in Fourth place from the Quarterfinal standings.

“The Academy, Jersey Surf and Teal Sound were the right choice for Quantum’s first year, because they’re up and coming corps who have really led the way this season. They gave they had great performances –which we’re proud of. In turn they gave us great feedback on our products from their experience carrying all three Quantum lines. We couldn’t have asked for a more reciprocal relationship this inaugural season for the Quantum.” Jupiter’s VP of Marketing Derek Craig.

While the Academy’s show didn’t take them to the finals, the consensus is that they remain a corps on the rise in DCI World Class competition. Finishing the 2008 season short of their goal doesn’t overshadow their tremendous dedication.

Jupiter Band Instruments, Inc. thanks all players in the Quantum Partner Corps and congratulates them on their accomplishments this season.
