2008 Glassmen Banquet Report

The 2008 GLASSMEN Drum and Bugle Corps gathered one last time to celebrate all that was the season! A record turnout from the membership gave an indication on just how exciting the night was going to be! The room was filled with the Kar-ne-vel theme with balloons on every table, and popcorn, snow cone, and cotton machines providing treats throughout the night.

The evening featured the 2008 Season Awards, and even included a dedication of a flag flown oven the United States Capitol by members of the GLASSMEN Alumni. "Magic" Dave Stevenson, longtime GLASSMEN Volunteer and nominated emcee of the event finished the evening off by saying, "I’ve got good news and bad news. The good news, there’s only 90 days until auditions. The bad news, there’s ONLY 90 days until auditions!".
