BYBA Leadership Training And The Big List
WALSALL – 15 FREE places
BYBA north has initiated the next Federation sponsored leader training course accredited by the Open College Network. This introductory day will be on Saturday October 18th in Walsall. Any current or prospective leader over 16 years is welcome.

Germany – 2 FREE PLACES
BYBA has played a role in the Federation’s work to establish ‘Marching Band Europe’, with the potential to link with 38 countries. This new inclusive and democratic European group, working with the long established Confederation of International Music Societies’, have set up a week-end’s training in HEEK, Germany 8/9th October. Two places have become available due to cancellation. Accommodation (twin room) and instruction costs plus £100 towards transport can been paid by the Federation.

The BIG LIST
In the next month the Federation will publish its ‘BIG LIST’, bands, corps and guards who have sent in their survey form and who will be the first units contacted by the Cultural Olympiad and other prospective hirers. If you have not submitted your form, it can be downloaded from www.marchingbands.org.uk
