MCA to hold first-ever Mini-Corps Championship Contest at Albany, NY

To begin the program , at 7:00pm, representatives from the Colonie VFW will present the colors to a live performance of the National Anthem.

The Championship Contest will be dedicated to the memories of our fallen service men, from the Town of Colonie, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the building of a Veteran’s Memorial in the Town.

The competition features several long-running and very successful Mini-Corps organizations, as well as the Mini-Corps debuts for Defenders Alumni and Windsor Regiment.

Ghost Riders – Parts Unknown, NY

Tickets are only $10, in Advance, for this ten corps show!

An Individual and Ensemble competition will be held, beginning at 2pm. Entrants are expected from NY Skylines, Mass Brass, Amoskeag Sound, Ghost Riders, Imperials, Capital Brass! and more. Admission to the I&E show is free.

The festivities begin with a Friday Night Social, at the Championship Headquarters: The Best Western Sovereign, right across the street from the contest venue.

And the celebration continues, with an After-Party, on Saturday night, also at the Best Western.
