Erie All-Age Drum Corps Forming

After several months of planning under the radar, it is time to reveal that All Age competitive drum corps will return to Erie, Pennsylvania. Through the efforts of many Erie area drum corps enthusiasts from many different eras and drum corps backgrounds, and an incredible donation of G bugles, Battery, Pit. Uniforms, a Truck and a lot of etc. from the Lake Erie Fanfare, the plan has been hatched to field a competitive All Age corps.

Erie has had a storied history of drum corps activity going back to the American Legion Post 11 Cadets, the Erie Keynotes, the Erie Thunderbirds, Erie Mavericks, Excalibur and the Lake Erie Regiment. Many championships and awards have been earned by these groups, but as importantly, the educational experience absorbed by the thousands of participants have enriched the community. There is more to come, and additional information will be presented as plans for the Competitive Corps take shape.
