Fusion Core Announces 2009 Color Guard Staff

Fusion Core is pleased to announce Larry Trimble and Steve Raysor returning for their third season as Color Guard Co-Designers/Caption Heads for the 2009 season. Joining the Team this season as an Instructor is Elyse Hajdusek. Together with the members and staff Fusion’s Color Guard was awarded high Guard within Class “A” for the 2008 season.

Larry Trimble had been Color Guard Coordinator for the Pennsbury High School Marching Band from 1999-2003. Since 2003, Larry has been the color guard designer for the Souderton Area High School Marching Band and Souderton Forté Indoor color guard and Fusion Core. Larry has also been a member of the 1999 Reading Buccaneers horn line, the 2001 Harrisburg Westshoremen color guard, the 2002 Reading Buccaneers color guard, and the 2003, 2004 New York Skyliners and Fusion Core 2007 and 2008 as Caption Head/Designer and member. Along with drum corps, Larry has been a member of “THE GUARD” indoor color guard from 2001-2004.

Stephen Raysor is excited to be returning to for the third season as well as Co-Caption Head/Designer. In 2003, Stephen worked with Pennsbury High School Marching Band. Steve has been a guard instructor at Souderton Area High School for both their indoor and outdoor programs since December 2003. Steve’s marching experience includes the Reading Buccaneers 2002 color guard, the New York Skyliners 2004 and Co-Caption Head/Designer Fusion Core, 2007 & 2008.

Elyse Hajdusek has been a member of the Fusion Drum and Bugle "Core" color guard for two years and was part of the 2008 DCA Class A Color Guard Champions.  Elyse has served as the color guard Caption Head, Assistant Marching Band Director, and Winter Guard Director as well as Equipment and Movement Designer for her alma mater, the Sayreville High School Marching Band and Winter Guard.  Under her direction, the Sayreville color guard has won numerous high color guard awards and helped the band win the 2007 USSBA Group 1A Northern States and New Jersey State Championships as well as several regional titles.  The Sayreville HS Winter Guard has won two MAIN Regional A championships under her watch.  She is also an alumnus of the Innuendo Winter Guard.
 
Elyse is currently employed as an elementary school teacher in the Sayreville school district.
