Impulse Drum Line Entertains During Historic NBA Matchup

The Impulse drum line brought their outdoor performance expertise to center court last weekend (Oct. 11) when the National Basketball League’s Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets played a rare outdoor pre-season game at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, Calif.

According to NBA.com this nationally televised event was attended by a sellout crowd of more than 16,000, and marks the first NBA game held outdoors since 1972. The Impulse drum line entertained during the pre-game festivities and on the court during the first quarter break. This is the organization’s second high-profile NBA appearance, having performed at the Staples Center in Los Angeles during the 2008 Western Conference Finals last May.
