Mandarins Announce 2009 Program Coordinator

The Sacramento Mandarins are pleased to announce the appointment of Gregory Mar as program coordinator. Greg is an active designer, instructor and adjudicator on the west coast and has extensive experience in all facets of the winter guard, marching band and drum corps activities. Greg will be working to produce and coordinate all the program elements through concept, design and implementation.

A graduate of the Academy of Art University, Greg was the Art Director for Santa Clara University for most of the nineties. He is currently the creative director of G.M. Art & Design, a commercial design firm in San Francisco. He has won seven National and West Coast Region CASE Awards for Excellence in Visual Design and two Telly Awards for animation in television. Greg is also a lecturer of New Media Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
