37th Kingswood Scout Hut Development

The Scout Hut Development project was awarded a cheque for £50,000 from the peoples million live on ITV News West. The money will see the replacement of an old, out of date and increasingly unsafe hall that makes up part of the group’s premises.

The new hall will enable the group to offer a wider range of social, recreational and sporting activities for young people and their families. It will also give the group an opportunity to build on their current success in involving the local community in their activities, with volunteers taking part being a key part of the project.
