NorthCoast Academy Will Perform At IPE European Championships

| |

NorthCoast Academy Percussion Ensemble from Saginaw, Michigan (USA) is proud to announce that they will be traveling to Europe in April of 2009 to represent the U.S. indoor percussion community in both clinics and performances. This incredible opportunity would not be possible without the support of Dynasty USA and Muremo Music in Europe. On the European continent mr Jean Paul Ratajczek from Muremo Music will function as the liaison for their stay and performances in the indoor circuit.

NorthCoast Academy will be performing their 2009 production, "Echo." With music based on Frank Sullivan’s piece "Echoes Reflected," Martin Hotte and Nick Pourcho’s musical arrangements come to life through "Echo" with Scott Allen’s brilliant visual imagery. The show carries the trademarks that NCA and the veteran design team has come to be known by, lots of notes, fast drill, and a few new surprises.

In 2003, NCA won the gold medal in the Independent Open class at WGI’s World Championships. This Championship title would bump them up to the Independent World class for the 2004 season. NCA is Michigan’s highest-ranked indoor percussion ensemble, and with their energetic and demanding shows, NCA continues their race to the top in the WGI Independent World class.

In addition NorthCoast Academy would like to thank the following sponsors whose continuing support of the NCA organization makes this tour possible: Dynasty Percussion Instruments, Innovative Percussion, Sabian Cymbals, Evans Drumheads and Graphics Mechanics.

The staff and members of NCA are committed to bring the audiences in Europe an incredible experience with both performance and education. NCA is honored to have this opportunity for our staff and members and is incredibly grateful for the generous support from all of our sponsors.
