2009 Blue Knights November Camp Report

What a positive start for the Blue Knights’ 2009 season! A special "THANK YOU" to everyone who attended our first audition camp from all over the US and from as far away as Canada and Japan. The turn out was fantastic with a full complement of prospective and returning members in attendance. This group of aspiring Blue Knights honors the 51-year tradition that makes this corps special. The instructional staff led by Andy Smart, Jeff Ausdemore, Tim Newburn and Rob Billings created a positive learning experience for all candidates. The energy and enthusiasm was evidenced during sectional breakouts and individual auditions. While the auditions were taking place, members of our program design team Marc Sylvester and Russ Newbury were also hard at work developing our 2009 program. “With our Banquet, the auditions, design team meetings, and even a meeting of our Board of Directors, it was an extremely productive and exhausting weekend!” said Blue Knights Director Mark Arnold.
