2009 Brigadiers Open House

The Brigadiers begin their 2009 Season this coming weekend with an Open House and Rehearsal to be held at the corps new winter home; Canastota High School. The Open house portion will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday December 6th with a presentation of the 2009 Program beginning at Noontime.

Following the presentation the corps will start learning their 2009 Program, “Pictures at a New Exhibition”. Rehearsal will run until 5:00PM on Saturday. Sunday, December 7th will begin at 10:00AM and go until 3:00PM.

There is no cost or long term commitment required to attend the Open House and this first rehearsal weekend. All are welcome to attend to see if the Brigadiers are the right corps for you! There are openings in all sections of the corps. Housing is available Saturday night for those who require it.

The entrance for the Open House will be at the rear of the High School adjacent to the Baseball field parking lot. Signs will be posted by the school and thruway exit.

Directions:

From I-90, take exit 34 and at the end exit turn left at the traffic light. Proceed 2 tenths of a mile and then turn left into the rear entrance of the school.

With roots dating to 1938, The Brigadiers Drum & Bugle Corps was reorganized in 1991 after a nineteen-year absence from competition. The Brigadiers are 5-time Drum Corps Associates World Champions, winning titles in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002, and are one of only two drum and bugle corps to ever win four consecutive DCA titles.
