2009 Cascades December Camp Report

Now, if this had been a drum corps camp in the Tundra, we might have understood, but this is the Northwest and we rarely get snow in our region. Hence, we had many new applicants and vets cancel before the weekend.

For the 2 snare lines, full drum line and a great turn out with brass it was anything but a wintry weekend. We accomplished all of our music goals playing 1/3 of the show and the corps song of "Imagine" at the end of camp. It was a drum corps treat! The corps had its’ usual traditions, drum majors serving snacks at 10pm (in 8 degree weather) and staff meetings at 7am. The Cascades are alive and well. We hope everyone got home safely.
