In The News: Firm Driving Up Donations To Colts

A Dubuque business has issued a challenge to supporters of the Dubuque Colts Drum and Bugle Corps: Come up with $20,000 for the Colts’ trip to Washington and the firm will match every penny.

The McCoy Group offered the challenge grant to the Colts to help pay for the corps’ participation in the 2009 Presidential Inauguration Parade on Jan. 20 in Washington, D.C. The Colts are among 100 groups selected from 1,382 applicants. In total, the trip will cost about $60,000.
