Madison Scouts Announce 2009 Visual Team

Ken Karlin returns to the Madison Scouts visual staff for a second season as both drill writer and caption supervisor. Ken has been a member of the Blue Devils’ visual staff for over ten years and works with James Logan High School. “We are excited to have Ken return in a greater capacity,” said Corps Director Dann Petersen. “Along with unprecedented experience, Ken is a great teacher of teachers and will help develop the rest of the visual staff.”

New to the team is Caption Head Neil Adkison. Neil has worked with Blue Devils B, the Santa Clara Vanguard and most recently with Carolina Crown. “Ken and Neil have worked side by side to assemble a visual staff with different experiences but identical values,” said Petersen. “This staff has all the tools to produce a highly competitive marching corps.”
