2009 Boston Crusaders Production Sneak Peak

With the coming of the new year, the Crusaders wanted to offer our fans a glimpse of our 2009 production.

The Boston Crusaders’ 2009 show will focus on Eve, the original "Femme Fatale," temptation, and the aftermath of her first bite of the apple. Continuing the Crusaders’ recent tradition of bringing to the field a mix of contemporary and classical music, the 2009 production will feature music by composers Camille Saint-Saens (Bacchanale), Richard Strauss (Salome), Ottorino Respighi (Belkis Queen of Sheba) and John Psathas (Dance of the Maenads), in addition to other contemporary works, including music from the video game Myst. Drum corps fans will immediately recognize Saint-Saens’ signature melodies and discover a new favorite in Psathas.
