2009 Spartans January Camp Report

The Spartans successfully completed their January camp earlier this month and continue to move forward with learning new music. Although Sunday’s portion of the camp was canceled due to snow storms – the horn line, front ensemble and battery are nearly finished learning the first movement of their show!

The Spartans have also announced their 2009 musical program entitled “The Raging River.” This concept reveals the story of a white-water rafting experience; starting out with the bright morning sun and then quickly moving to the journey down the river. This fast-paced ride through perilous turns, twists and dangers finally comes to calmer waters, only to once again gain momentum toward the big finish.
