2009 Vanguard Cadets January Camp Report

The Vanguard Cadets continued marching towards the 2009 season this past weekend with almost 120+ attendees returning for the call-back camp.

Saturday morning, prospective and veteran members for the horn and percussion sections arrived from all over the United States and Canada, primarily from western states and provinces and overwhelmingly from California Bay Area. Throughout the weekend, all sections spent more time focused on the fundamentals of music, movement and performance while being introduced to and learning more about how Santa Clara approaches all three of those elements.
