Cadets Inaugural Parade Schedule And Info

When the 2009 Cadets wrap up ensemble rehearsal this Sunday afternoon, it won’t be business as usual with goodbye hugs and departures to the airport. By late afternoon, the excitement level will crank up as the colorguard and alumni arrive, and rehearsals, uniform fittings and final preparations are made before the corps leaves for the 56th Presidential Inaugural Parade early Tuesday morning.

Planning for the corps participation in the Inaugural Parade has been intense since the announcement in late November that the Cadets were invited to perform in the historic event. With 150 Cadets, including 14 alumni, set to march down Pennsylvania Ave. on Jan. 20th, the weekend prior includes a mock parade, music rehearsals and an infinite number of details to tend to, all to get the corps to Washington, D.C.
