In The News: Colts Depart On Date With History

The luggage was stored and the sack lunches were claimed.

The people traveling to Washington, D.C., with the Dubuque Colts Drum and Bugle Corps marched onto one of six buses late Saturday afternoon bound for their date with history.

It was the beginning of the Colts caravan, taking 237 people, including the 119 Colts marchers, to the nation’s capital — where on Tuesday the corps will march in the inauguration parade for President-elect Barack Obama.
